Sample Collection

Our laboratory is run by qualified professionals comprising of pathologists, technologists, clerks and laboratory assistants. All the team members are committed to attaining our goal. Walk into our facility at anytime for a COVID Test, or You can BOOK ONLINE for a Home/Office sample collection. We shall send our team to wherever you are.

Testing

COVID-19 sample collection is done using a swab that is inserted into the back of the nose and/or the back of the mouth and it takes just a few seconds. The procedure is painless but one may experience a slight discomfort. We collect samples from both adults and children for a molecular test called PCR, which is the test recommended at the moment by the Kenya Ministry of Health (MoH) and the World Health Organisation (WHO) for testing COVID-19.

Results

Our Turnaround time TAT) is 24hours after receipt of the sample in the molecular lab. For samples received from out of Nairobi, consider the transit time depending on the distance.

Once results are ready, you will receive a hard copy of your results.

Note that anyone with a positive result will also receive a call from The Ministry of Health surveillance team notifying them of their result.
